If you want a simple speaker the 4213E is a great choice. And, it is much better than the current speaker you have.

Some time ago we had a party and we played with the 4312E with high volume all evening without any problems.

Nice. I guess a big part of it would be the horns or no horns deal. I have only heard an inexpensive Klipsch horn on a bookshelf in best buy. I thought it sounded great.

The new 70the anniversary edition of the 4312SE has the same low frequency driver as the 4429 studio monitor, but the difference is made by the high and ultra high compression drivers in the 4429. These really do a hell of a job.

Very nice audio setup McTwins. My first JBLs were the Century L-100 - perfect for my dorm room. My room was a popular weekend hangout. Still a JBL fan

Just got a pair of 4312E's and really like them. Still can't figure if I like them better then my 4412's, but they are terrific speakers. And obviously not seen much in the States.
