I remember when they moved into their present location from up the street and thinking it was going to be so much better......not !

I guess I'm spoiled by Terry's rooms @ Overture for the only thing that I have listened to that compares is Chad Kassem's room out in Salina, Ks.

I'll have to stop into Hi-fi house soon and see what's new, is Tyler still there ?
They made improvements to some of the rooms and built a new one when they took on Wilson. You are correct Terry does have some very good rooms.

Yes Tyler is still there.

Might not be HiFi House if he left.

Not just Jenkintown and Wilmington are much improved. Broomall has been upgraded as well. All 3 stores have been getting better and better over the past couple of years. Paul's on a mission.

I have never actually been to the Broomall location. Yes, Paul is "Da Man" when it comes to audio. Their other services are outstanding too. I had my whole house wired with Transparent cable for 9 Sonos zones throughout not to mention numerous flat panel TVs, cable, wifi and ethernet while it was being built. Very professional and neat installation team.

Jenkintown is, far and away, the flagship location. Broomall is the original location, and my third choice of the three.

Jenkintown is where they began their journey into the high end.

They've really upgraded Broomall. It's also the location where they have a Wolf DCX500 with VariScope on display.

Incorrect, my dear Meta. The company's original, and long-shuttered, location was in Wayne. Alas, this was so long ago that most either never knew this fact or forgot it long ago.

Kevin, I don't believe that Bill was referring to that as their original location, but, rather, where they moved into seriously treated rooms and began carrying gear which competed with the big boys. I was not aware of them ever having a Wayne location, and my first relationship with them was in 1983, or so. In reading their website, I see that the company dates to 1955, but I don't go back quite that far.

Anyway, how about that ARC Reference system?!

Reread what I wrote again. I didn't write where they began. I wrote where they started their journey into high end. That would be with Paul and in Jenkintown.

In Wayne? Whereabouts? I spent a lot of time there in the early to mid 80's and can't place it.
