Default Audio cooling

! installed the AIRCOM component cooling T9 a few weeks ago. Talk about bang for the buck
It is Feature rich and looks great too. This is cheap insurance for over heating issues in your audio system. I have been using my Aurender A10 non stop and the temp has never gone above 79 degrees.
Thank you Ivan for the tip

Default Audio cooling

These things are awesome. My install is really tight ... my C1100 T/C are stacked on one another with a slotted shelf right above. The T9 fits (just barely!) between the C1100T and shelf. Without the T9 turned on, the temp quickly rises to low 100s (105 is highest I have seen) but within minutes of turning on the T9, the ambient temp of the C1100T drops to upper 80s/low 90s with normal listening. A real gear saver in my situation. I have a second T9 installed over my D1100 too which blows air up and helps to cool the MX160 on my top shelf. Great smart fans at a unbeatable price. IMG_3006.jpg

I agree that these are terrific units and a virtual bargain in hi-fi. And they look at home in any system.

The front venting seems to be the logical choice for tight spaces. What have been owners experience.

Default Audio cooling

Ivan,

The AC Infinity cooling units that I have seen vent from the bottom and exhaust out the front. I might be able to use such a unit except in my situation I have a PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium integrated amp. With a curved top. And the above mentioned units sit on the component below. About 10 or 12 inches above My PL is a shelf. Can these units be attached to a shelf above instead of sitting directly on the component below?

Thanks

Those may look like vents on the front but they are not. Simply decorative. The fans pull air up from below T9 and blows it above T9.

Jason.......There are also other models, one that exhausts to the front, as well as one that exhausts to the rear. I like the T8 model that exhausts to the rear.

Ok, didnít know. Very creative company, a fan for any installation. Mine are the T9, didnít know there were options when I ordered. Luckily, the T9 is perfect for my situation.

That is true but the Aircom S10 exhausts from the front. If there was a way to afix the top of the unit to the underside of a shelf it would do just what I need.

Maybe a different model, but not this one.
