The Magico Q1 looks cold/sterile to me. I like their previous monitor with wood better.

I did not hear the Q1 but to my ears and tastes, their other speakers sound cold and sterile as their look....

Last year at an audio show in Brussels, I heard the Q5's in a +300000$ system.
I was not impressed at all...

Magico held a demo of their Q3 at a local dealer around here a few months ago. Cold and sterile sound is an immediate tune-out for me. Those Q3 speakers captivated the listening audience including myself throughout their entire demo, and I didn't even like any of the sales rep's music samples he was so proud of
