Finally got to having a short time to set up the MX121. The switching off issue appears to be gone, but the onscreen display still doesn't appear. Also the calibration this time was very different regarding the subwoofer.
I don't know anything about computers... Can someone please assist me with hooking up the network connection? I am running a cable straight to my modem from the MX121. What's a proxy and do I need to set this up?

So once the MX121 has a "valid IP address" which has been assigned from the router's "DHCP pool" of which corresponds to your "local area network (LAN) subnet" then the MX121 will be allowed to communicate outwards to the internet provided you have no other firewall policy restrictions configured on your modem/router that would prevent outgoing traffic through its gateway. Apologies if that sounded foreign, I'm just technically too far removed from reality to make it sound any simpler. Last edited by MyPal; 03-14-2013 at 03:52 AM. |

Thanks Steve... Makes sense! I haven't done it this way which would explain why it's not currently connecting. Will let you know how I go

FOR PROBLEMS WITH MX121 - press for 4 seconds "SLEEP" and "STATUS" of the front panel. This is a bug with automatically turning off after 30 minutes of user's inactivity |

Thanks. I was experiencing this problem with my new MX121. Sorry to be reviving an old thread, but perhaps others will find this useful and will avoid them sending it back to a dealer.

Mine has this same problem too. Do I have to press sleep and status every time I turn on my unit?
