 ... that's about the price of an Apple iMac..dressed up..no?Dan, I know what you mean, though. That's a lot of green to lay out on a PC in today's day and age....  But hey some people buy expensive cars  , some expensive audio gear  and others spend their dollars on the *ahem*...ladies..

Pretty cool. Actually not badly priced for what you are getting. For a graphics artist for example, a screen that you can directly draw on costs a lot. A 27" Wacom Cintiq cost $2800 for example. And this is just the screen not a computer with ssd drives, Nvidia graphics, etc....

I have the surface book, which I absolutely love. I would love to have the surface studio, but hard to justify the cost for a second PC.
I wish Microsoft would release a monitor-only version, that I could use with my surface book when docked in the docking station. Having owned the original Surface, Surface Pro and now Surface book I can say that I have been very pleased with the Microsoft surface hardware. The software, on the other hand, still feels like a work in progress, but I am still a Microsoft fan.

My Surface Pro (both 2 & 3) have both been excellent machines. A whole other league compared to any other tablet computers out there! A tablet computer that you can actually do some real computer work on. And my Surface Pro 3 is an amazing Roon controller!
