Steve... I haven't even posted how many I now have in use; let me just say that I have one on every single piece of Mac equipment. That alone is a total of 23!
I too am smitten by these Flux-50 Filters. I have them on my video projectors, and subs as well. I have 3 dozen on back-order right now; although I won't see them till sometime next year. I am determined to keep a small back up stock. PS> I have 10 coming in next week (ordered back in October) but they are all spoken for.

I have bought one Flux-50 Filter and connect it on my PS-Audio P5 with Furutech Powerflux PS950 in my 2-channel system. However, some inner details has lost and the soundstage becomes narrower. Finally I sold it. My Powerflux works better without the Flux-50, don't know why...

I agree with U,i hear something like compression in low frequency and also loose some detail and less attack in bass drum,i use it in accuphase a50 and Gryphon encor and also behind my power conditioner and have the same result.

Raga....... I am surprised by your impressions of the impact the Furutech Flux 50 has in your systems. My experience in both my living room system and the studio system is quite the opposite. It isn't that I get greater bass and larger dynamic impact. The sound stage in both of my systems take on a more 3-dimensional sound stage with the Flux 50 installed. I went back and forth over several days with two Furutech Flux 50's and each time I put them into the system I got a sense of more width and depth. The sound stage grew more holographic. I certainly did not sense a lose of bass or dynamic impact. That is why your comments surprised me. What voltage feeds your system? Are you using the Flux 50 on an amp, preamp, power conditioner, or AC regenerator? Are you using more than one Flux 50? I am curious how you have your systems set up and what gear we are talking about.

I wish they didn't work so well, I would have saved a lot of money.

williamchc.......Thanks for letting me know about your system. I am using a Furutech Flux 50 on my PS Audio Power Plant Premier that powers my two MC601's in the living room system. I use another Flux 50 on my Purepower 2000 that powers all the components in my studio system. I have had impressive results with the Flux 50 on both systems. That is why I am perplexed by your results with the Flux 50 feeding your PS Audio P5 and components.

I purchased a Furutech Flux 50 previously for my PS Audio P5 PP and it had immediate and profound benefits. Just recently, I purchased a pair for my Butler Monad tube hybrid mono blocks. I have to say they took 200-300 hours before I noticed any benefits. It is a much smaller and incremental benefit, but still worth it.

I purchased three Flux 50 filters; one for each of my two Spectral DMA-360 S2 mono blocks, and one for my MIT Z Power Bar conditioner, which powers the rest of my system, and I heard an immediate improvement in overall system transparency and refinement, which has only become more pronounced as the filters and my system have continued to break in. I am very satisfied! Ted.
