It was pretty hazy in the afternoon/early evening (you can tell from the clouds) and the light/contrast was pretty darn flat....I'm surprised the colors turned out as good as they did, to be honest, because I thought I was going to come away with nothing that afternoon.

Jérôme, here is Dead Horse Point the same day, in alpenglow in the early morning, before the sun came up.

Some days, we can take hundreds of pics, and starve to find a correct one. Others : each pic is beautiful.
That is the fun part of photography IMHO.
