I bought a set of Wireworld Eclipse cables to drive my Sopra No2's, and have been happy with them, use the banana plugs to connect.

So with my speakers and equipment pretty well broken in (3 to 400 hours) and isolated (Herbie's products). I'm ready to upgrade speaker cables. I'm happy with the performance and tone of the system and I don't feel anything needs to be corrected with the cables themselves. Just looking for that next level of performance that could potentially be had. A few cables I was considering were AQ Castle Rock Comet or Oak, WW Silver Eclipse, and Cardas Clear reflection. Neutrality and maintaining the systems personality as is, is my priority. Any other suggestions?

So after demoing a few cables on my speakers at my dealer, including bringing my current one in for comparison, I brought home a pair of Audioquest Oaks for a home demo, and decided to order them.

I run Kimber Monocle XL with my Sopra 2s. I haven't tried anything else yet. I've had the Kimber runs since they were released in 1999 and they are by far the oldest piece of equipment I own, alongside a run of Silver Streak and Hero.

I've an excellent result and very love as they're sounding.

Sorry for not posting my results with the Supra 3.4s cables sooner.
I was using some Nordst spellbinder cables (solid core). Putting the Supras in brought the vocals to a new level. More even up and down the audio spectrum. More cohesive, and a wider and deeper soundstage. The difference wasn’t night and day, but it was discernible.

I’ve now put a Primaluna Dialogue Premium integrated into the amp position and the entire system sounds fantastic.

Though, I might just try the Audio sensibility cables, you never know

Haha, don’t apologise. I know exactly how it goes... Great to hear your positive comments about the Supra cable. Pre-owned or new? They did show some break-in improvement in my system over the months of use. Enjoy!

I've got a cool dealer near me that stocks Nordost and Shunyata. We tried about every cable they had when I picked up my Aria 936. Liked the Nordost Red Dawn the most. Cables are SOOOO personal preference. I always liked the light airiness that the Nordost cables bring into a system.

On a side note its nice to find a forum where cables can be mentioned without having the flame war on 'cable's don't make a difference'. New hear and already love this place.

I've found that Tara Labs cables work great with Focal speakers. I've used the same cables for 16 years and have no desire to change.
