Default Do you guys leave your Boulder amps on?

Do you guys leave your Boulder amps on all the time? I was just wondering, not sure if I should shut mine off if I don't use it for a couple days. Also I wasnt sure about the damage of turning it on and off.... rather than just keeping it on.

I keep my Class A monoblocks (not Boulder) on continuously to avoid thermal cycling.

I'll be interested to hear what others have to say or do.

I wish I could afford the electricity to leave my amps on all the time. LOL. And that is with solar installed to be able to afford them being on from Thursday night to late Sunday night.

The main problem is that when the amps are on the A/C is also on.

Boulder 1050s here -- I do not leave mine on, turn on one hour before listening to warm up. In the summer months we get frequent thunderstorms and I leave the amps unplugged to be safe.

accuphase, class a monoblocks (A200s) - I leave them on about Thursday night through Sunday night during cooler months and cycle them during the other days. In warmer months, I cycle them every day as they're just too hot to leave on all the time (basically, like a baseboard heater . . . in the summer . . . in Georgia - too hot!).

Pass Lab X260.8 class A/B (about 400 watts each standby)- Usually leave them on 24/7 in winter, but only evenings in the summer, otherwise I need to run the AC.
