I've often thought about getting a server. I love the convenience. One question, will a server such as the Mac MS series, play SACDs?

Jeff.......If the SACD has a CD track, yes it will play it. The MS750 will not play SACD only.

All you need now is the MS750 and an MVP871 so you've got the server, and the ability to play multi-channel SACDs. It's only money!

So if I'm ripping a hybrid SACD into the MS750, it will rip the CD layer and not the SACD layer?

Jeff.......That is correct. It will rip the CD layer to the hard drive. I have done it with all my SACD's without a problem.
