Soloist Premier Special Edition
I am installing a third dedicated 20 amp circuit that will be used by the new JL Audio F113 subwoofer. In order to provide the f113 with cleaner power than the normal house current, I have decided to try one of the new PS Audio Soloist Premier Special Edition outlets for the dedicated subwoofer circuit. Since the rest of my system benefits from the clean power of two dedicated Power Plant Premier AC regenerators, it seems like the next best thing for the subwoofer is to use the Soloist Premier SE for its power outlet. I like the idea that it offers surge protection with non-volatile super MOV technology, provides differential and common mode noise rejection, and is non-current limiting. The Special Edition soloist Premier also uses the Power Port Premier outlet rather than the standard Power Port. The Soloist Premier Special Edition seems to be a quality in-wall power conditioner that does not hinder the delivery of current to the connected load. I'm looking forward to putting it into service with the new JL Audio f113 subwoofer.

Awesome Dan! I look forward to reading about the benefits of the Soloist Premier on your sub, congrats on the new sub, thats a big boy sub. I will venture to say that I bet there will be more Soloist Premiers in your future for the rest of your system in front of the PPP. Let us know!
I have a 3rd dedicated 20 amp line that my REL B3 sub draws its power from. It is the only component in my system that does not benefit from the PS Audio magic. I have considered everything from a second PPP (overkill IMHO), Duet, to a Soloist premier. When I add my 2nd REL B3, it will draw power from a standard 15 amp line, adding further to my confusion how to properly feed the power to my subs..... Off topic, I just finished listening to APO SACD Creedence Clearwater Revival - Willie and the Poor Boys. WOW. The MCD500 DAC's are amazing. The sound was soooooo much better than i remembered when i last played that SACD with my 301. Of course, the PPP is now powering my system as well. Great fun. Jason

 The automatic room optimization on the Fathom sounds cool. I am currently very happy with the bass in my2 channel set up without a sub. believe it or not. I will be set in this room for awhile after the new wireworld cables are in. After the summer I may upgrade my home theater with a new sub., the velodyne I have is not that great except for sound effects.

The Soloist Premier Special Edition outlets are amazing. The outlet alone costs $100 that makes the whole unit a no brainer for $250.
I try & get all I can of these, they rarely stay in stock.
