Default Anyone compared DA2 to Yggdrasil

Like the topic has anyone compared DA2 to Yggdrasil?

I have not done a comparison, but here is a link to a very favorable review:

As per the review, it does not support DSD so it could not be used to play the super audio layer of SACD's or single layer SACD's (I believe). The McIntosh DA2 does support DSD and has an MCT port permitting a transport such as the MCT500 to be used as a SACD player, which is one of that unit's principal intended uses. A DA2 by itself is $2K and is neatly incorporated into various McIntosh pieces as a module that can be updated, so a 'pure' comparison might not be doable. Being able to handle SACD's is a prime directive for me, personally, but YMMV.

I have the Yggdrasil and im only using the usb input from a laptop. But im thinking about a change to a c2700.

I'm not sure if you have read it, but Dan has one of the best, most in depth reviews out there (bar none) on the Yggy!
