Default New K03 Owner..
I was originally going to purchase the K05, but after reading many threads and talking to a few users i decided on the K03.
I know the K03x is released , but there is no stock here in Aus so i got the K03.

Top marks to Esoteric for their superb packaging... the shipping box is very substantial and very well thought out..

I have removed the original feet and replaced them with Stillpoint Ultra 5,s that i also used under my Sony SCD 777ES and XA777ES players.

Will do some listening over the next few days..

Give it some time to break in on all sources you use (SACD / USB etc) before jumping to conclusions. Good call moving up the Esoteric line. The K03 appears to be the sweet spot.

Craig makes a good point - break in takes a while and is needed on each port that is used. Do not give up on the player before it is broken in.

yes it is but honestly, I would never do that unless there was a very good reason. Scared me to death taking the top off of my amp to put in LED lamps or my pre to put in new tubes. I see no reason to take the top off of my K03x. I leave that to the Audio press.
