I was using it for some time on my MacBook. My system is a McIntosh MA7900 anD Sonus Faber Olympica III. The main reason was to flatten the sound response curve as there were some large peaks at the lower frequencies. It worked fine, however when I started to play my digital music from a Daphile music server I noticed a much better SQ, more dynamics. Since then I am not using my MacBook with Daphile anymore. I also asked the vendor of Dirac for the latest version but they never did any effort to give me a new version. Their reply was that the core software is still the same but they only improved the UI. I wished I could return the Dirac license as it is expensive. |

The issue is that I am not using Dirac anymore. I haven't checked but normally software licenses are not transferable. Otherwise I would have put it on eBay for sale.
