Wireworld Silver Eclipse speaker cable vs: Kimber 8TC speaker cable

+1 The speaker cables are the strongest performer in the Silver Eclipse 6 range IMO,

I have to go to twice the spend (Shunyata Anacondas) to make a significant step up from there... the current price for second hand SE6 speaker cables make them an audio bargain and I'll be likely keeping mine to run on a second set-up...

The Wireworld Silver Eclipse speaker cables are still connected to my Anniversario's and making sweet music. The price to performance ratio of the speaker cables is exceptional.

I was also convinced by your and Jérôme's experiences.
I came from a quite good cable but my system got so much better with the WW SE speaker cables.
Fantastic deal and perfectly smooth purchase from Ivan by the way.

Have you done any comparison between the Eclipse 7 spc and the Silver Eclipse7spc? Just got a new pair of Eclipse 7spc in. They sound very good but seem to be light in the bass or do you think it's me. Now I'm beginning to think that I should try the Silver Eclipse 7spc ????
Any thoughts ?????

Ed.......To answer your last question first......No, it won't end, but you eventually come to terms with it on some level.

I have not had the opportunity to hear the newest Wireworld Eclipse 7 speaker cable. Since you said the cables are new I would not pass judgment on them until you have a couple of hundred hours on them. My Wireworld Silver Eclipse 6 speaker cables sounded very good right out of the box but steadily improved as the hours were logged on them. Since the Eclipse is OCC pure copper I tend to think the bass will improve as the cables break in. Just keep the music playing. One day you will find yourself thinking, "Holy mackerel, this system is sounding fantastic." That's when you'll really know you made the right choice.

I understand what you are saying--heck I have only 5+ hours on them. But I just wasn't sure if the silver Eclipse offered more out the door.

What Dan said... However the Silver Eclipse is in fact the "Sweet Spot" in WW's lineup, and does offer more bottom end. If you think/feel you need the Silver Eclipse in place of these, just let me know.
