I believe every audiophile should have a nuclear power plant in their living room. That way you will be assured of all the clean power your system will ever need.

Plus, the warm glow of uranium is WAY more impressive than Mac meters!

A new opportunity. Pure gold, cryogenically treated gold, electrum, platinum, Irridium, Europium... how about something exotic, Einsteinium - Fermium alloy crygenically treated and irradiated!

The BEST conductor for ANY purpose is undoubtably SOLID UNOBTAINIUM.

I personally prefer wind power. It's got this airy properties, however might give bit greenish tone and doesn't quite have the glow of nuclear power.

I tend to agree but, then, that flies in the face of those higher-end RCA interconnect cables that have a directionality imprinted on the cable's outer covering. XLRs are not susceptible to this because they are indeed directional (you just can't hook them up backwards unless you break something). Oh woe is me! Happy 4th of July America!

Regarding the directionality of RCA IC cables, many have a shield that is only connected at one end of the cable and that is what makes them directional. For RCA cables that are not constructed this way, some makers still feel that their cables sound best when used in one direction as it comes off the spool so they mark them accordingly for reference. Whether this effect is significant or not is often the subject of debate among audiophiles.
