Tony.......Yes, all music files are ripped in FLAC and will be backed up on the hard drive I am ripping them on. That hard drive will be my source for transferring the files to the Aurender N10. As I acquire new music it will be ripped to that same hard drive and then moved the N10.

The inside of the Aurender N10 is as beautiful as the outside.






Under that aluminum cover resides the custom designed digital output board and clock generator with an oven controlled crystal oscillator for the AES/EBU, coaxial, and Toslink digital outputs.

Looks great ! I have been using a macmini as I have been too lazy to rip my cd's again plus I have some music on there that I do not own the cd's for anymore.

David.......I know what you mean. I have been ripping CD's now for three and a half days, nearly steady, and I estimate I have at least another seven or eight days to go. It's probably going to work out that I have all my CD library ripped and waiting by the time the Aurender N10 arrives. It now looks like I will arrive by the end of this month.

In the meantime, I'm still ripping.....

So what I'm getting from this is that you can't somehow drag or transfer the music files on an external hard drive onto the Aurender N10?
