I ordered one the day after the release announcement, should be here next week, also ordered a pair of McIntosh 611s ad a McIntosh men 220 and plan on hooking up my pair of McIntosh 2301s together in the system. All bought from the best McIntosh dealer in Southern Ontario, Electronic Depot in Niagara Falls.

Thanks W9TR,I figured why screw around and do it while I have the cash on hand. Next up is buying the big brothers to the speakers I'm using now,Coherent Audio GR 12s to GR 15s with all the upgrades and a new TT and a bunch of Shunyata wiring to go with the wiring I'm using now.

Please permit a mention of the the following because it may matter to some. In most respects the specs for the new C22 and the C2700 are identical, but the phono section is superior for the C2700 (See below with specs for C2700 listed first.). Using a good analog front end, a 5 to 7 dB difference in S/N will be noticeable to many. If one includes the remote operation, the pretty decent DA2 modular DAC, and the pass through capability, the C2700 could be considered the better buy for $2K more. Being able to change cartridge loading and tone control settings on the fly is a notable advantage.
