I presume y'all are aware, but the Marriott is undergoing renovations and the entire Atrium section will be closed. A couple vendors told me that they're not too happy with the alt accommodations that Marriott Tech Center is providing.

Be forewarned. The venue is undergoing MAJOR renovations as mentioned by aardvarkbark. Also, I have been told that the Marriott has even moved some guests to neighboring hotels.

I have talked to several vendors that are not going this year. This might be the year to skip it.

Hey Marc, not going to be there (one of these years maybe). Was talking to EJ today at our Audio Club event about the show. If you get a chance say hello .

I might try out the SST pre-amplifier that he will be using at the show. Don't need it but it is the perfect match for my amplifier (which is really really nice I might add).

What is a pod pavilion? Man, with the lack of AA'rs and the renovation going on, I am getting discouraged about going Hopefully it's not gonna suck. I have to admit that each year seems worse and worse...

I probably should have cancelled out and planned for Munich instead. The only reason I was planning on going again this year is I know I cannot attend next October.

Dunno. FEMA trailers in the parking lot, maybe? Tastefully arranged with some nice shrubbery. Or something more festive....

I'm looking forward to hearing the Magico M3's being shown at the Hyatt.

Interesting, are they not part of the show? I don't see Magico on the exhibitor list. That's how I missed them last year I think. Do they do their own little thing?

That RMAF website is awful...nothing makes sense. And what the heck is a pod pavilion?
