ISSUE RESOLVED.... Blue LED out!
ISSUE RESOLVED.... Due to ribbon feeding the PCB needed to be reconnected. Will, the center LED on the right xa160.5 amp was going off and on once and a while but it has been sometime now since it did that. Now the left amp center LED is out. The other 2 LEDS on the left and right are fine.

I was told by a person in the industry that the doping in blue LEDs in the past was TERRIBLE and that caused them to fail. The newer ones are supposed to be better or as good as other colors, but the older ones, nevertheless can and will have problems.
You can goodle things like "blue led failure" Last edited by GaryProtein; 12-10-2013 at 08:26 PM. |

No, will have to have them both shipped back. You think spending this much money they would last at least 10 years or more.

I think I may just sell these amps with the crappy LEDs. I figure the replacements will crap out in a very short time also. You guys will PASS Labs amps beware of the fading blue LEDs.
