Yeah, I'm looking forward to getting this. I've been anticipating it since early May when I decided to wait, instead of getting a Performance SEP.

Which arm is on the new Performance DC?
I have given some consideration to the Ovation but the price is just too high. Also, a very knowledgeable person said he thought the arm they bundle with the Ovation is a real disappointment ("I can't believe they're selling that arm with it") and it would be good to move up to the next-level arm, which bumps the cost even higher. But I do love all of Clearaudio's technology and the superb industrial design on the newest tables.

Hello all,
Being a new subscriber I cannot yet introduce myself on the appropriate thread, but no worries, will do so later. My name is Leon, I am Dutch, 59 years old and (almost) lifelong HiFi-nut. I started out with Duals (1019 and 701) as well, followed by many makes and types. I think for your budget, especially if you're USA resident, a VPI would be à fair choice, especially given warranty, service, etc. Other options for the price would be Clearaudio, Dr. Feickert or a vintage turntable like Micro Seiki. I use à Micro DD40 with the nice 505 arm myself. Good luck and re-enjoy the analogue miracle :-)

Sadly, I have been informed my order for a Performance DC is delayed again. Now they say Clearaudio isn't shipping them until late September.
 I'm now starting to consider other options for a turntable and cartridge. I really did not intend to wait five months or more when I ordered it.
