Anyone attending, please take a look at the new Berkeley Ref DAC. Very positive comments being rumored but to date their site has no info on it other than a picture.

I heard the Berkeley Reference DAC in two different rooms and it sounded very good in both rooms. It's priced at $15K . I am not sure if it's 300% better than the previous DAC 2.
The first room had the BADA paired with Magico S5 and Constenllation electronics. In the second room the BADA was driving a couple of Lamm amps directly w/o a preamp. The BADA sounded very clean and dynamic in both rooms. I took some photos, but I am unable to attach them. In any case, the BADA looked very much like a Meridian box. Rich |
