Hold your horses, Bob I am not replacing my Sasha's with these things! I think I will need a separate amp in another room for this. Just not sure how much i can spend...not much.

Marc
I wasn't implying that you replace the Sasha's(heavens no!!!!). I was merely saying that the Ref 75 would be a great amp with the Boxer's. As you may know, Carl uses ARC gear to dial in his speakers.

It is also my understanding that a new Boxer(Boxer II) is being made. Perhaps yours will have this designation.

I'm thinking of getting a pair.

I will be doing a shootout between the two speakers. Of course I already know what the outcome will be, but it's still fun! I did it with my Kef ls50's.

Ooh... That would be a great shootout! The two bookshelves...

I'll let you guys know how they perform!

That is certainly a pleasant turn of events. Please post your impression of the sound.

I ordered the cherry finish, it will take a month or so to get them. Carl and Marilyn are awesome people! Super nice, and apparently generous as well!

Here's a little review of them: nola boxer
Not bad! These speakers retail for $1500. Wow.

Any suggestions? I guess I could probably afford a NAD C356BEE DAC integrated. Then I just need a source to go with it.
If the source material will primarily be digital then the NAD C356BEE DAC Integrated would be an option worth considering.

Congratulations! I won a headphone amp when I was at CanJam several years ago. I look forward to your impressions when you get them. Beautiful looking speakers!
