Thumbs up Do you know CDbaby.com ?

Hi Guys,

I discovered a great site, with great music.
I ordered from them all the cd's of Paperboys.
I rarely had such a service from a web music store. They arrived fast. Shipping fees were low, and they had a very special attention ( I can't tell more ) which I did not ask for.
Moreover, they do business with humour !
This is really appreciated by these times. I always think humour is not enough present in business.
This is the funniest email confirmation I ever received:

"Your CDs have been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with
sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.

A team of 50 employees inspected your CDs and polished them to make
sure they were in the best possible condition before mailing.

Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over
the crowd as he put your CDs into the finest gold-lined box that money
can buy.

We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party
marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of
Portland waved "Bon Voyage!" to your package, on its way to you, in
our private CD Baby jet on this day, Monday, April 13th.

I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did. Your picture is on our wall as "Customer of the Year." We're all
exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Sigh...

Check their site. They are super.
They really deserve some advertising !

Cheers,
Jérôme

Yes, a good service, however a few months ago I was forced to send an Email as I had not received an order in a timely manner, here is what I wrote:

"I appreciate about the 50 inspectors, all the polishing, satin pillow, candle lighting etc. but are you sure the CD was place on your private jet?
Maybe it was sent via pony express?
Could you please double check on that for me as I am still not in receipt.
Thanks baby"

Amy from CD Baby graciously replied and the Cd appeared, (UPS Truck, no jet) a few days latter.
Upon receipt I sent a thank you Email:

"Thanks Amy, received it yesterday.
I assembled 50 of my closest friends, we then lit a candle in my incense filled music room, gently unwrapped the package removed the still sterile CD and placed it the player.
The silence was deafening.
Finally the elder of our group hit the play button, It was a time and place we will all remember!
Thanks to the entire CDBABY family, the packers, the glove guys, the sterilizers, pillow guy, the pony express guy, I mean cdbaby pilot and of course most of all you Amy. Without your banter and updates we would surely have never had such an excellent experience.
All the best"
