Clearaudio Absolute Inside
Is there any more than I have a Absolute Phono Inside? If so, it would be nice to get some impressions from you?
I chose Inside because I did not want to rebuild the tonearm etc. also cost much more and from informed sources, the difference was not even audible? Well, it depends perhaps on the ears that listened to me! I myself am very surprised at the difference from my previous Reference, never thought the difference would be so great. So quiet ............ blah blah, more of everything simply, you will understand that I am impressed by Clearaudios ability to produce phono stage. It has now been exclusively vinyl listening for nearly two weeks, and with so many old records have been cleaned and fine. My thoughts on that I did not think the differences would be so great if any at all was wrong and I'm glad for this, the upgrade was successful. / byZan |

Hi ByZan,
I realise you started this thread a while back, but i'm about to purchase the Innovation Black(most probably with the TT-2 or Graham Phantom II or III). As it's so dificult to find one to hear on a demo, I wonder how big the performance difference would be between a conventional Cartridge/Tonearm/Phono-stage configuration compared to one using the Absolute Phono Inside set-up? Regards. Babur. |

Hi,
First, I believe that the choice of the tonearm is a matter of taste? Personally, I think a TT plays more accurate and provide more information, but that's me and in my home. I myself have not heard or compared Absolute Phono Inside against another RIAA than my previous and the difference was great. But from people I trust and who are in the business I have heard that they think the API sounds best and whatever genres. I do not know if this was the answer to your question? If not, you may ask again / byZan |

Bump for this thread. Am intrigued by the absolute phono, but can't find much about it. It's different, that's for sure.
