Howie, you're right. We can set them up by ourselves but frankly, you're a vet, I'm an orthod : that is not our job ! It takes a LOT of time.
Now, with all the advices I got here, especially from Bill, I'm approaching the Nirvana now !
My bass is now much more fast : it looks like an active set up and all the spectrum benefits from it. The image is much more focused and stable. But of course Bill, I'm sure that you would do better if you come here !
Bill, thanks a lot. With you, we learn without noticing it ! At first glance what you say seems to be very confused for a simple mind like me. But with time, the light comes out ! I have achieved a much better sound now than what I got since 2 years with my speakers.

Quad 2905's just in. Gorgeous. Better than my 57's and SHL5's by some margin.
