I've owned a pair of the original Avalon Eidolons since 1999 and love them as much today as I did the day I took delivery. The most transparent, refined sound I've experienced and probably the best soundstaging as well.
They do lack a little in the lower bass, but I've not been able to find a sub that keeps up with the incredible speed and transparency of the Eidolons. I remain a very happy Avalon speaker owner/user/listener. (Seen here at my lake house)
