Thanks guys. My wife loves it, and I expect we’ll have some fun getting to a few more off the beaten track hiking areas this summer.

Really wasn’t too worried about whether it was “girly” or “manly,” just the right vehicle for our needs, which don’t include rock crawling.

Tony, that was said 'tongue in cheek' ! regardless, I was shocked at the sticker on one of the Rubicon's I saw at the auto show the other day.

I was pretty shocked at the prices of the new vehicles as well. The price of the loaded Sahara wasn’t far off the price of my MB - I hadn’t expected that. The dealer also had a Moab special edition Wrangler and a loaded Rubicon, both just under $60k.

Yet $60k on an audio system or sometimes even a pair of speakers or amps seems totally acceptable...

Serge, I didn’t mean to imply that I thought the prices were too high for the value, only that I hadn’t expected them to be at that level for a Jeep. It was a matter of brand perception on my part. I have a brand expectation that a Marantz or Denon component will be priced significantly lower than a D’Agostino component. I also had an expectation that a Jeep (or Chrysler product in general) would be a lower price than an MB. Of course the reverse is true, when I bought my MB I was surprised the price wasn’t higher.
