Hi John, thanks for the response. I think that requires me to touch every album.

Got it! Sorry, I didn't realize how many you might be trying to use the new tag name on.

Ocassionally I put a cd into the C15 and it does not load or try to rip. It just sits there doing nothing.

Is there anyway to eject the cd?

Right now I have to shutdown the C15 and it spits it out when I turn it back on.

May be 1 in every 50 cds but still a pain.

thanks

Howie:

That's the only way. I always rip from the computer instead. The laptop drive in the Control 10/15 is not terribly robust, so I just avoid it!

I discovered a new Sooloos tip last night.

When using the Control 10/15 on the main screen with the A-Z letters on the bottom of the screen, of course you can fast forward to any letter in the alphabet by tapping that letter on the bottom of the page but there is more. You can press multiple letters to go to the exact point you want to. For example: lets say you have 200 albums by artists who's name's start with the letter B and you want to go to Black Sabbath, you can press BL or BLACK to go directly there.

This may seem obvious but I've had my Soolos for 8 months and never noticed this. Just another reason an owners manual on the Sooloos could be a good thing.

That's cool, Victor! I can definitely take advantage of this tip!

It's funny how you can use something for months and still be learning about its features.

Thanks Victor, I too stumbled upon this feature a few days ago. I inadvertently pressed a few keys and saw the screen paginate based on the letters.

I also wonder why there's no manual. Maybe they believe it's just so intuitive a manual isn't needed (like many Apple products). I for one would like a little more documentation. Although the interface is sophisticated and simple all at the same time, I can't help but wonder what else I'm not taking advantage of.

Back to the point of documentation, I now understand what 'Disable Spelling in Alphabetical Navigation' means (found in System Settings/General Preferences).

I guess over the course of time, we will collectively reverse engineer the GUI / Operating System.

Please explain. I sent an email to Meridian asking about this, they gave me an answer that made no sense.
