Samantha Fish, "Chills & Fever". Sounds great thru the new Accuphase AD-50 with the AT33R cartridge. While I was underwhelmed with her live performance this past fall (too loud for my tastes - no more rocking concerts for this old guy - need to be in control of the volume knob), she was the 2017 "New Blues Performer" of the year and the album is very nice mix of music. She tours Europe a couple of times a year (just back in early Dec), primarily France, Germany, Belgium & England. She looks at least as good on stage as in her photo.

Glenn, I listened to this via Tidal.
She has quite a powerful voice, I didn't expect that looking at her picture.
The album has a couple of good tracks.

Oh, yes. She can certainly belt it out. And in a good way. When I saw her perform I kept hoping she would do a few Ella or Janis Joplin tunes, as she has the voice for them.

Yes, I was constantly thinking: and now give her a standard and she'll handle it nicely.
