Default RIP Dick Dale

Dick Dale the "King of the Surf Guitars" has passed at 81. There was a time in the 60's that is was a requirement that every teen band had to play "Miserlou" at a dance.

R.I.P. Dick Dale.

With the movie 'Pulp Fiction' in the 90s, he totally came back into the picture.

I am sorry to hear that. He will be remembered. I played in a teen aged band back in the 60s. There were a couple of summers in which an acceptable rendition of Miserlou was a requirement. Nobody does it quite like Dick Dale though.
