I hear ya Craig, but I didn't watch a minute of it, weather was too nice to be glued to the 'idiot box'. Besides, Koepka probably wasn't complaining too much !

It is a nice yet ugly and windy course, i saw the ending, that 45 minutes was enough for us. Congrats to the winner. Koepka!

Hard course to play that is for sure, espec with the rain and wind. ug

Dave, I think Brooks has 2.19 million reasons to be happy!

Not to take away from his play, but Fleetwood’s early start seemed advantageous since he avoided the course degradation that the later starters contended with.

This (start time related conditions advantage) should not happen unless it’s caused by unmanageable natural conditions.

It is common for there to be weather related impacts between morning and afternoon starting times. It happens at The Open Championship quite often. The weather in the English isles can change by the hour. BUT the R&A take that into account.

The error I feel the USGA made was in applying their mantra of ‘stern test of golf’ blindly on Saturday. The sunny day, high winds and low humidity that day dried the greens out. That made many pins impossible to get close to and worse, even if players hit the green, putts that unless they went in the hole rolled a minimum of 5+ feet by and in some cases off the green and downhill another 20 yards.

Having said all that. In the end, the skill of the players came through and I feel one of the best won.
