I have a pair of these and I listen to them almost every day. For the size and weight, they are amazing.

What’d you end up with?

(I really enjoy my Dynaudio Xeo series bookshelves for my home office setup. Powered, internal DAC...just add source and enjoy).

For the money, and for the sound, the Vandersteen VLR has surpassed my expectations.
I started with a pair of Zu Omen Bookshelves but they just didn't sound 'right'.
The VLR's paired with a pair of HSU VLR-1 Mk2's create a very nice soundstage. Very listenable in my little office where they are on wall mounts near the ceiling corners.

Count me in as well.

Stunning speakers. Doubt anything else can touch at their price point.
