so says Valin ... now from memory he feels the 7 series portrays an unfinished statue , with unfinished lines ... did not read any such sentiment , when he was wetting his pants over the 7 series !!!

I didn't hear this from Valin, but I know he wrote the same thing in his blog. Of course just because I've heard it, and he wrote it, doesn't mean it's true.

The batteries used in the 18NS are indeed an acid-lead type. There is not much to be worried about though, as those are a sealed type: darTZeel uses the Enersys brand, which is the best available. Apart from the need for replacement (they last from 2 to 4 years, depending on useage) I haven't heard of any problems with them. If you don't have a darTZeel dealer near you, who is willing to give you a loaner to try in your system, I would recommend getting an used one. If you manage to buy one at a good price, you will not loose much (if anything) on resale. Not sure what is the current going rate for those. |

If you already have the 108, resistance to the 18NS is futile, as Joe will soon find out

I asked Joe if he had recieved his yet. He said perhaps another month. It has gotten great reviews. I have only seen one 18NS used and he wanted a fortune for it.
I have bought several pieces to try particularly on the digital side and it's expensive and a hastle to sell stuff. I have a pair of Kharmas for sale that are a steal and no luck so far.

Soulution should be a pretty easy sell. Every piece I've ever heard has impressed me.
Speakers are always more difficult. |

Then it should be easy to resale. The hard part is getting one at a good price

That is the plan. Nothing is etched in stone yet though.
