Bypassing power button - Question

Ok, so I have a Jolida JD801BRC and I am trying to figure out a way to bypass the front power button on the unit. Why? i have it plugged into a power control center and when I turn the preamp on it turns everything else on, except the Jolida. It has a main power switch in the back of the unit too, which I always leave on. You have to press the button on the front to get it to turn on, or use the remote. I was wondering if that could be bypassed, and still have the delayed startup. Seems like it shouldn't be too difficult for a tech to do.

Thoughts? Anyone done something similar to this?

I'm not sure I understand this. Your pre turns everything else on except the Jolida amp, I get that. I assume via trigger cables. But you want the amp always on and preserve the delayed startup? What would bypassing the power switch do for you? If you intend to keep it always on, why not just do that?

It sounds like the power control center controls all main power, while the switch on the front is simply a standby switch. So when he turns power off on the control center, everything shuts off. However, when he turns on the power control center, it turns everything back on, except for the amp, which needs that standby button to be pressed to take it out of standby.

Exactly, you explained it better than I could have. Yep, so that is what I am looking to do. Eliminate the need to press the button to take it out of standby

If you are willing to open up the unit, and if you are willing to modify, then check out the switch for standby. The switch most likely has push on spade connectors. I would guess you could connect the power in to the switch wire to the power out wire with a small jumper or a double sided spade connector.
This would of course bypass the switch.
Shrink wrap and electrical tape to eliminate possibly causing any short circuit problems.
If you are not comfortable with this type of work a local electrician may be of help.
I have no idea what the circuit is like so this is speculation on my part and requires you to look at circuit and see if this is a viable solution.
