My room by the way is quite small, aprox. 10 by 15 ft ...but this will just be a
Temporary set up since i may end up with a bigger music room -hopefully-
By next year, i plan on plugging the port of the sasha 2 until such time - bad idea?

Elmer
I don't think I'd plug the port ... the enclosure is designed as a ported design so if you plug it you are likely to impact the sound in a negative way. If there is something about the bass response you aren't happy with I'd use room treatments to work on any room issues. I used GIK room treatments and couldn't be happier.

Thanks George.

According to wilsons manual, break in is just 24 hours to achive 90%
Completion, im past 24 hours and it seems it needed more...way more.
To my ears it is still a bit confused and shut in on rock and fast music.
Any idea how long it took yours? I need to know before changing cables
And experimenting on room acoustics.

Hi Elmer 10x15ft is pretty small for that size of speaker. Just a thought but could that be the cause of the 'confused and shut in' sound ? They work best in free space I'm guessing you have them up against the back wall/ and /or in the corners ?

Problem solved!
By just swapping casters to spikes made a huge difference, although i
Lost a bit of speed and bounciness i get from the casters, i gained more
Focus, clarity and cohesiveness from spikes.
My speakers are 3.5 ft from the back wall, 6 ft apart, about 1.5 from the
Side wall and listening distance is 8 ft.

I played mine quite a bit at moderate to loud volumes so after the first 2 months I didn’t notice much more change. Congrats on awesome speakers but then I’m biased.
