Default Favorite radio station of all time?

KROQ, definitely my favorite. Although now I listen to KROQ2 via Radio.com. I also like KNRK on Saturday nights from 10:00 to 12:00 Pacific.

In addition to my earlier vote for WNEW, my commute would never have been the same without w N bc and Don Imus. He made me smile and laugh everyday.

Since I am a Jazz nut, I have to say WWOZ. Heard it the first time I spent 3 weeks in New Orleans, now I compare all jazz stations to it. There is something lively about New Orleans jazz. I could be attached to it because I miss the city though...

Growing up near Galveston, KLOL (101.1) formed many of my rock sensibilities of the early-to-mid 70's (the DJ "Crash" was a favorite).

In the military in Austin through the late 70's, KLBJ was the go-to.

Moving to St Louis in the early 80's and onward, KSHE was go-to for rock and KDHX was my introduction to eclectic, community-supported radio.

When I lived in the SF Bay Area a long time ago, I split my listening time between KKHI, KDFC (both classical), and KJAZ (Jazz, esp. with Bob Parlocha). During the early 1970s, KDFC and K101 (James Gabbert) would combine their resources to offer 4-channel broadcasts on occasional Saturday evenings, which meant that a lot of neighbors poured into our Pacifica living room. And, finally, when I would be up past the witching hour, KCBS (AM) had "Music 'til Dawn", shepherded by Ken Ackerman.

These days, my FM listening time is divided between KWAX (classical-Eugene, OR) and KMHD (jazz-Gresham, OR).

That's a great station with a rich history! I think the only way to stream a station like that on an Aurender is to actually stream to something like an iPad or phone, and then use Airplay to send it to the Aurender.
