Default McIntosh at Munich Show

I have been looking thru the photos of the Munich Show posted by MyHiEnd. One thing that jumped out at me was how much effort McIntosh put into their display. They combined their gear with what looks like a pop culture display and how McIntosh fits.

Unless they are doing something similar at shows in the US other than RMAF that I am not aware of, the US market is not getting the attention it needs.

It doesn't even matter to me that most (all?) of the gear was on static display.

I agree. Just got back from Munich and they had a very cool room with wood, old Harleys and gas pumps. Nicely lit products added a nice touch to the whole presentation. In their own room, the only thing playing was their MXA70 which sounded great. But walking into the Fine Sounds demo room was a sight to behold. Almost Ivan-styled with four 1,2 kW monos and three 601, powering 4 brand new Sonus Faber Lilium speakers, 2 Futura (as rear speakers) and one Vox center.

Wow!!!! Using a speaker as fine as Futura as rear speaker duty certainly counts -- over the top Ivan-nized system for sure.

That looks like a perfect seating for that setting. Adele and The Wall should have
sounded incredible. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Doing the two step to some Pink Floyd

I've spent a couple hours drooling over all the cool gear shown in those pics. Some day ... some day I'll make it there.
