Congratulations!

Nothing like bringing home precious cargo like that.

I remember driving home from VT with my 501's loaded into the, ahem, Hyundai Elantra.

Literally had to remove trim to shoehorn one of them to fit in the trunk. Hard to beat the anticipation on the drive home!

Congrats! Picked mine up from Audio Classics a month ago and I love it. Upgraded from a C28 and MC2505 that I have had since the 70's.

Default I Got It inda House

It was a beast . I got in it out of the truck and into the basement. Got it unpacked and in the house.[IMG][/IMG]. Took some ibuprofen and started moving out the PCA2/ Remote Power supply and the HCA2 power amp. Figured out where I want the mighty MAC and "Houston I have a Problem"
[IMG][/IMG]

I spent the afternoon calling around for a longer server shelf. I will prolly have to order 1 ups or get a piece of steel cut and attach it to the existing shelf.

aclearspot......Are you really going to trust that thin sheet metal shelf to support your new MA6600? Those two lips and the four rack screws are the grand sum total of your defense from a possible traumatic event. Do you know the weight rating for that rack shelf?

Default Rack

The existing shelf is rated @ 50 lbs, Its a2u. The shelf doesn't go the way it is photographed, it was positioned that way show that its too short. I'm looking for a 4u,they are rated @85lbs and 3-4" longer. The lip is for strength and is underneath, I had the pca/hca/power supply(65 lbs) on 1 shelf to see what would happen. I am adding 2 steel supports for the rear of the shelf.
