You really can't go wrong with Telefunken. Ever since I installed teles smooth plate on my C2300 MC phono and Teles. Ribbed plate on the line stage, I couldn't be happier. Let your ears get used to the stock tubes for a while then switch to Telefunken. You will see how much you'll appreciate the C2300.

I love and agree with all the positive feedback I hear about the C2300. It is always nice to know that my oldest piece of stereo equipment is still in demand. I don't plan on selling it but it is great that most here are not pushing another new and improved pre amp.

Congrats......that's the route I went as well. I've been pretty impressed with it so far, but haven't had a whole lot of time to listen.......I've been doing some other stuff in the room as well, I upgraded the stock tubes in my Manley to some gold pin Amperex 7308s and just ordered some linen drapery from Restoration Hardware for the bay window at the front of the room. The last thing is going to be a new rack for my equipment since I'm pretty much out of room. I spoke to Chris at Timbernation, I like what he does and it'll match my bookcases perfectly. I'll get some pics out as soon as everything is up and running and looks great!

Matias.......Yes, move the transformer plug to the socket you have circled. That is your 220 volt plug for the transformer. The internal fuse should be left alone. You need to change the external fuse on the back of the preamp in the fuse holder next to the IEC power connector. For 220 volts the fuse should be a T-250 mAL 250V fuse.
