Default MA252 new tube integrated? Going to happen?

Saw a picture of this new little integrated on another forum. I guess it was recently displayed/revealed at a show in Tokyo?
Anyone have details?

Jon.......The McIntosh MA252 integrated amp looks like a tube preamp with a solid state power amp.

Dan....totally agree. Wonder if it is a life style product designed specifically for the Asian market where home space is a premium. .....Or will it be launched in the US? JMHO....the tube cages are interesting, but way ugly.

Interesting looking unit. It's a bit busy looking. Might be better if the tube cages were black anodized but, hey, that's one man's point if view.

Hmm. Looks like the offspring of an MC275 and the Jetsons' toaster. Also looks more like a rendering than the finished product. Like the idea of a half-size tube integrated though.

Agree.
I would still like to see a full size replacement for the MA2275 at some point.
