Stereophile did a review of the INT-60 some months ago. JA measured the distortion to be at about the same level as, say, McIntosh's published spec's. The 1% spec Pass Labs uses is a 'traditional' old spec from days of yore. As others have said. Give it a listen. Nelson Pass and his gang know what they are doing.

It's been my experience that there is no correlation between measured THD specs and an amplifier's perceived sound signature, as long as the THD spec is within reason. 1% is certainly within reason.
As Nelson Pass has said, it's the first watt that really counts anyway. Tom

PASS and Ayre have each earned a lifetime of comments based on how they treated me as a consumer. I don't discriminate.

Having had numerous dealings with Ayre, I can assert they have always treated me very well. Great gear, quality people!
