Hi Masterlu

Did you compared TAD D1000 with Esoteric K01X.
If so, what are the main differences.
So far I can't find anything published about the Esoteric vs TAD.
Both received extremely good comments here on AA and around.

Thanks.

I had the TAD D600 here for about a month recently.

Although I didn't compare it side by side with my K01X, it is a very good sounding CD/SACD player.

I heard D1000 in an all TAD system along with their M2500 power and Compact Reference speakers.
Very impressive indeed.

Will listen to D1000 next week again and to K01X later, although this should be happen in different systems and places, so no comparison, unfortunately.

Since I need a CD player AND a very good USB DAC, I am considering the ESOTERIC K-01x but also the EMM LAB XDS-1, the VITUS SCD-025 & the TAD D-1000.

anyone know how they compare ( as CD player but ALSO as USB DAC) ? I heard VITUS and ESOTERIC have different sound ! what about the TAD ?

thanks a lot

Sweetmusic69,

You can find dealers on the TAD website. Easy to find one who is willing to let hear you their products.
Several shows around also nowadays with TAD products.

Hi Stock

At the time I purchased my equipment very few dealers was available and a lot of traveling between Europe and US was involved.

Which US dealer did you hear the demonstration of the aforementioned equipment as I believe TAD have so few here now.

None, as I am in Europe. Should be easy here as explained; just check dealers involved.

Hi Stock

My place of residence is Europe I have spoken to numerous TAD dealers around central hub and none of them has that particular combination of stock for immediate audition (A few were happy to arrange this, though it would take around a week for this to happen)

As you have heard this combination as whole I thought you would be share this for us, nothing more.
