I did not compare with Cremonese and Stradivari.
I ordered Stradivari for my HT system as I love its look and if I do not take action now, I will not be able to get it in future.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like you have an amazing system. [emoji106]

I never let my maid around my audio system, you are a heck of a guy for setting up a specific system just for her.

I have noticed that the Strads like a good spanking before sounding their best.

Last night I was belting out the band Live at high volume, I usually listen to music at moderate levels, and the system sounded much better after a couple of songs with a better bass slam, and much bigger soundstage. I have noticed this a couple of time with the Strads and never with previous speakers.

So occasionally it's good to blow away the cobwebs!

I actually did the same thing Friday night with Hiroshima LA. I generally don' t play music above 6 watts but that night I thought the same thing and was playing over 100 watts. As I turned up the volume it kept getting better and better. Note: my wife was out of town that night.

I find my ears act just the opposite. Once I push the volume up and listen, my ears seem to lose sensitivity and the ability to hear subtleties. As a result, I tend to start mellow and either stay there or push a session toward the end.

Because of that effect, I do not hear what you describe with my Strads.

I cannot believe the scale of these speakers. I auditioned them on an Audio Research 75SE, which is not ideal, but I could not believe the scale of these speakers. Performers were literally lifesize and vocals were just sublime. I can see what the fuss is about, it's ;like love at first sight.

I think I going to get them
I was told that Stradivari is quite power hungry.
So I am sure you are not hearing the true potential of this speaker with ARC 75SE
