McIntosh backlog

Placed an order on my C12000 the first week of Dec. and was told 120 days. I must have been super lucky I got a call from my dealer Dec. 23 the C12000 was ready to be picked up. less than 3 weeks. Hope you all get your gear soon.

I stopped by my local dealer today and they have a C12000 new in the box that just came in for stock plus quite a few other McIntosh pieces. They’re all going fast though. The bonus was that I was able to listen to a pair of Sonus Faber Maxima Amator speakers. Amazing!!! I’m going back tomorrow for another listen.

So happy to hear that the industry is strong enough to have long wait times for big ticket items! I think we are in the second golden age of home audio. Don't mean to thread hijack, it just makes me happy!

I think the delays are more attributed to supply chain issues.

Hi all. New to AA. First post. Also new to the McIntosh club. I ordered my first Mac piece, an MA352 integrated, back in August and it took about 3 months to arrive. Ordered an MT10 in October and am still waiting for it to arrive.

I'm enjoying my MA352, but now I kind of want more of that McIntosh tube goodness. I'm considering selling/trading the MA352 and going with tube separates. Maybe an MC1502 with C2700 pre? Whatever I do, I figure it'll be another 2 - 3 month wait to get amp and/or preamp.
