Default System almost complete

Finally has system almost complete Using Magnepan MG 0.7 speakers + JL Audio d108 subwoofer and sound of system is stupid good now

Looking for streamer without internal dac, considering Bryston Digital player...
Any other suggestion's for streamer?

Nice system you have there miatadan!
I have been very pleased with my BDP3!
I went with the built in WiFi but you can for-go that if it's possible to easily run an ethernet line or just use an inexpensive WiFi extender and connect it to the Bryston with an ethernet.

I added a 2-TB SSD. It's easy and not too costly. Using the Bryston app and an iPad version 2 controls things very easily. The customer service is second to none and hardly spin a CD or LP of late!

Dan.......Nice cozy setup. Looking good. I'll bet the Maggies with the JL sub sound excellent with the McIntosh gear. Happy listening.

I chose the JL d108 as I felt the 8" woofer would have faster response time. Crossover set at 45Hz and volume set at 1.5

Dan.......No doubt the Magnepan speakers are quick. A sluggish subwoofer won't cut it. I think you made a good choice with the JL Audio d108.

Very nice system. Nice chairs too!

Another satisfied user of Bryston BDP here. Like John, I installed an internal hard drive but a 1 tb SSD. Ripping my CD in AIFF, I would need about 1750 albums to fill it. In FLAC, multiple this 5 times.

As good as the Bryston app is, I prefer to use Rigelian with my iPhone. Glyder seems very good too and it supports more streaming devices than Rigelian.

Nice set up, I am looking to add another sub to my system to balance it out. Interested in your feedback on the JL Audio.

Another happy Bryson owner. I don’t have an internal hard drive, I’m connected to an NAS (Synology). If you don’t already have an NAS go with the internal. If you have an NAS it’s an easy connection. And yes, I highly recommend it.

Very nice setup. You might also look into Auralic for streaming.
