It replaced my C47 - nothing sounds better to me than a tube pre and SS amp (MC402). It is sublime... at this point, not sure I'd upgrade to anything else for quite awhile. As it is I don't utilize all the power in the 402.
Congratulations on your pickup. I was in a similar situation picking up a new in box 2600 at a substantial discount. The combo with the 462 is sublime. Now I have more money left to pickup some speakers for another system or invest in a better TT or CD transport for my stereo system. Already exploring options

Enjoy your setup!

+1 on the DAC modules. If they are going to integrate one the modules are the best way to go imo.

I’ve been enjoying my new C2700 using a Bluesound node2i to my preamp Dac.
I found out that I can actually hook up my pair of JL audio e112s to the output 1 on the preamp and turn my crossover on the subwoofer to enhance the lower frequencies when playing music.
Question is, how low would I turn my crossover frequencies on the subs so my Focal Kanta 3’s can still perform 2 channel? I hope I’m making sense to what I’m trying to say.
I’ve only started buying new audio equipment two years ago. Mid life crises?

"To say the C2700 is far greater in value than the sum of its parts is a vast understatement. The C2700 is a bargain in a world full of over priced, under performing audio products." https://positive-feedback.com/review...-preamplifier/

Google says the Kanta 3’s go down to 37Hz, so I would cross the subs around 45 or start there and experiment with what sounds good to you.

Even better, maybe it will have two so you can share.
