Is it my imagination or did I really see a "booger" on the end of that finger?

Do you just drop the stylus down on to it like the Zero Dust? Or are you pulling our legs?

No, not like Zero Dust. It's a very gentle movement and steady contact in a uni-directional (same direction as the stylus moves on the LP) fashion.
Years before I was using a matchbook to clean the stylus tip in the same fashion.
Chemicals and static cleaners like Zero Dust have either caused more harm than good or are not very effective in the first place.
The pink eraser is only recommended for those with a steady hand, if you know what I mean. It does not harm the stylus tip/cantilever or leave a chemical residue. Just my opinion.

Last, Lyra, Zero Dust are the cleaners I have on hand. Prefer the Magic Eraser.
