Default Stylus Cleaners

What if any Stylus Cleaner are you using?

I use a cleaner I got from the NeedleDoctor called Disc Doctor Stylus Cleaner.

The Lyra pickups come with a stylus cleaner already(my Agro i MC will have a supplied applicator and cleaning agent)- I'll probably just use the applicator portion as I'm not a big fan of chemicals. Keeping a stylus clean during playback is extremely important.

I have been using a Magic Eraser before every album side (or 2 if I am lazy) and it works great.

I also apply something called LP9 at the beginning and end of each listening session.

I too have been using the Magic Eraser for the past few years and nothing cleans better IMO........I cut small pieces about 3/8"x3/8" then glue it to a coin, set it on the platter and drop and lift the arm a few times and that's it.

Becareful using any liquid near the cantilever as too much and it can migrate up the cantiver like a wick and destroy your cart

Okay.. What I'll do is start a new post. It will have pictures of the entire process. Remember a picture is worth than a thousand words. Plus it's quite easy!!!

I've been using a Pentech pink school eraser for the last 3 months on my Linn Adikt.
It's the best stylus cleaner that I've found so far. I'll also use it on my new Lyra Argo i MC(stereo) pickup once it arrives and gets installed by my Linn dealer. Price: $0.99 for a pack of 3 at Office Depot.
